1d20 Perks

From Yale environment 360

  1. Hydrogen: It's explosive, created in slurry pits and coal mines (Next delve, how about bringing a gas mask?) and is a incredible source of energy. You start with a cow as hydrogen comes from the stomach of ruminants. Recommended for an intelligent fighter as they can use a carefully placed bucket as a impromptu mortar (dealing 2d6 to any poor soul hit with the projectile). Bonus points if firearms or hydrogen cars from a by-gone age are a thing.
  2. Helium: It is incredibly light, makes you high-pitched and genies are made out it. You can use this with some canvas to make a balloon. This can allow you to jump up to (level x 5) ft high with enough helium strapped to them. Flight? no, you are Mario on a budget.
  3. Lithium: is used as an alloy with aluminum and magnesium to improve weapon strength and make it lighter. It takes a day for you to make a weapon out of lithium alloy but your magic user can use a sword made of lithium alloy.
  4. Beryllium: reflects neutrons. It is also found in emeralds. It doesn't melt so you can carry lava (adds scaling to any weapon if the target has more Hit Dice than you)
  5. Boron: is found in bleach. You can clean away messes like rust, acid burns and maybe even rust monsters. degradation on metals are removed if you spend a turn cleaning.
  6. Carbon: is in diamonds. You don't care about jewelry, you can dig! It requires 10gp per 15ft due to the careful carving of the diamond.
  7. Nitrogen: can make things incredibly cold. You can splash nitrogen on creatures dealing 1d6 cold damage (adds scaling if the target is warmer than you).
  8. Oxygen: allows you to breathe under water as long as you are connected to your barrel of oxygen. It is connected by a 10ft long flexible pipe.
  9. Fluorine: is used in Sodium fluoride, meaning you have one hell of a winning smile. +1 to reaction rolls.
  10. Neon: You glow. You have created a vacuum discharge tube inside of yourself and now glow dim light. Not enough to see by but you can be spotted in a dark room.
  11. Sodium: It is used in a number of dyes so given a day's rest, You can dye a number of items any colour equal to your Con score.
  12. Magnesium: Magnesium is used to help grow our bones so you have grown your skeleton in such a way that you seem to be able talk to the undead.
  13. Aluminum: It is used in aluminum foil. You are wrapped up, gaining a +2 bonus vs mind control.
  14. Silicon: it is found in glass so you can produce lvl glass jars that can hold 1 litre.
  15. Phosphorus: Phosphorus is used in fertilisers. Plants grow at an accelerated rate within 15ft of you.
  16. Sulfur: You can create sulfuric acid, eating through wood like it's no problem.
  17. Chlorine: You can clean any water they find similar to purify food and water
  18.  Argon: You can weld metals together. Unwilling targets roll vs paralysis to avoid
  19.  Potassium: You have developed photosynthesis. You can go without food as long as you spend the day under sunlight.
  20.  Calcium: Your bones are strong, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC
