1d4 Noble Ladies in Fathach
This is for Prismatic Wasteland's Random blogwagon. I got 6 paragraphs long and to post today on June 11th. I am also participating in Weird Writer's Girl blogwagon. These gave me an excuse to talk about a change in Fathach. So classes are dead, instead I plan to make 6 "decks" of pregens. Each pregen is a named character in the world of Fathach and is defined by the following format. 3 things they are good at (they get to add a die if the skill applies), 3 to 6 Protections (If conditions outnumber protections, you cannot adventure), Faction Relationships, 1 Special (A unique PbtA Move) and their starting equipment. I plan to have around 30 characters per deck plus 30 special characters that get added to the deck if specific things happen in the fiction. Unfortunately I only got 6 paragraphs so the moves will have to wait.
1. Lantha, Merchant Princess of the Atus Free Company. She is good at erasing enchanted items from ledgers, knowing where an object was made and is an expert practitioner of etiquette. Protections are Her Reputation as Heir, Her Reputation as a Lawful citizen and Her Reputation as a potential Wife. Faction Relationships include The Fair Stone Mother (Lantha's beloved Scatterby Briggs has sworn a pact with Stone Mother), Atus Free Company (as a potential Heir) and the High Society of Learned Fellows (They watch carefully how she acts in accordance to the Scripture) Her starting equipment is a favourite cloak, makeup kit, "The Good Dress", a satchel and a locket that can talk to Briggs from anywhere but only works just before falling asleep.
2. Aluh, Artist Unknown. Skills are painting poor art to survive, loving another despite famine and being INCREDIBLY soft. Protections are Her Stomach, Her Creativity, Her Heart, Her Courage and Her Kindness. Faction Relationships are The Warrior Hounds of Sir Gentin (Painted a picture for a general that they liked), The Screed of Ur Sar (Her love is not correct under their authority) and Cassandra Hunting-Graham (has loved her work but can't find the time to buy more) Starting equipment is a LOT of clay, Carl (cat) and their 12 cousins, patched up clothes from better days and an unopened letter from the Hunting-Graham Estate.

3. Alice, Mechanist. Skills are watching a dream project cough smoke and die, caring for the weak and small and mixing herbs from the forest around her home. Protections are Her armoured apron, Her pneumatic heart and her fear of letting down the village. Faction Relationships are the Ironcloaks (her home tribe), Model 488 (Alice created them) and The Muse Tree (It helps Alice with inspiration). Starting equipment is a wooden golem that yearns to go north, a contruction kit, safety outfit and hope for the future.
4. The Devourer. Skills include conquering weak and unprepared villages, getting back up after a near fatal blow and cooking a meal for the rest of The Hounds. Protections include Her will to live, Her will to fight and Her will to protect. Faction relationships include The Warrior Hounds of Sir Gentin (High Ranking General), Setanta (He wants to kill the person who wiped out his village) and the Underbelly (the beggars healed her wounds when the Hounds wanted to move on). Starts with ordinary attire, Steel battle armour, cooking kit and a map of villages that hate them, all but one still standing.
